How to choose curtain length
Curtain length has a direct impact on the final result: a couple of centimetres can completely change the feel of a room.
The most common options
- Sill-length, for windows with a radiator or low furniture underneath.
- Floor-length, with a small margin: the most common option for living rooms and bedrooms.
- With extra break (puddling), a more relaxed, fuller finish, typical in very spacious rooms.
Why we take the measurement in your own home
The final length depends on the actual ceiling height, the type of track and the room's floor, which is why we always confirm the measurement during the visit before making the curtain.
Common questions
Questions about this solution
It depends on the style you're after; in living rooms it's common to leave a small margin of one or two centimetres for a clean finish.
We take this into account when measuring, so the final length looks even across the whole window.
